Sandwiches with egg and onion spread

A simple and affordable spread for egg, fried onion and greens sandwiches. A slice of bread with such a delicious and aromatic spread is a wonderful addition to a cup of tea or coffee. Great breakfast or snack!

  1. Put the eggs in a saucepan or stewpan, fill with water, add 2-3 pinches of salt, set on maximum heat and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and cook for about 8 minutes. Then we cool the boiled eggs, pouring them with cold water.
  2. Wash green onions and dill, dry and chop finely with a knife.
  3. Peel the onions, wash and cut into small cubes.
  4. Peel the boiled eggs, put them in a deep bowl and knead them into crumbs with a fork.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. stirring occasionally, fry the onions over medium heat for about 3-4 minutes, until light golden brown.
  6. We send the fried onions to the egg bowl.
  7. Add chopped green onions and dill. Salt, pepper and stir.
  8. A simple and budget spread for boiled egg, onion and greens sandwiches is ready.
  9. We serve it to the table on slices of bread.
