Banal scrambled eggs for breakfast can be prepared in a more original and interesting way - this will take very little time. Scrambled eggs in bread are sometimes called "Birmingham scrambled eggs" or "French scrambled eggs", but whatever it is called, it is delicious!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. If you have whole bread, cut three slices from it 1.2-1.5 cm thick.
  2. We will have a sausage filling, but you can add cubes of fresh sweet pepper or green peas - this will refresh and diversify the taste.
  3. Cut the sausage into small cubes. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.
  4. Use a sharp knife to remove the crumb in the slices, leaving a crust 0.8-1 cm wide.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over high heat. Fry the sausage, stirring constantly, for about 3-4 minutes, until golden brown. Then place the sausage from the skillet on a plate.
  6. Place prepared bread slices in a skillet. Be sure to reduce heat to low.
  7. Place the sausage cubes inside the slices.
  8. Gently beat one egg into each slice of bread. It will be more beautiful if the yolk remains intact. Season the eggs with salt.
  9. Cook the scrambled eggs in bread over low heat for about 6-7 minutes, until the protein hardens.
  10. Sprinkle the grated cheese on the eggs in the bread and cover the pan. Cook for about 1-1.5 minutes more, until the cheese melts.
  11. Scrambled eggs in bread, with cheese and sausage, ready. Sprinkle lightly with black pepper.
  12. Serve scrambled eggs to the table, adding parsley or dill if desired
  13. A crunchy slice of bread, succulent grilled sausage, firm protein and spreading delicious yolk - a super breakfast for a great start to the day!
  14. Bon Appetit!
