A simple and quite original version of the usual scrambled eggs - in pita bread. The idea is taken from the Caucasian cuisine, where it is very popular to cook an omelet in pita bread called "yoka". Such scrambled eggs with herbs and cheese, cooked in pita bread, are perfect as a hearty breakfast. Fast, simple and tasty.

  1. Prepare foods according to the list. From the specified amount, I got 2 servings of scrambled eggs in pita bread.
  2. I have one large sheet of pita bread 35x45 cm in size, but if you wish, you can take two smaller sheets of pita bread.
  3. Rinse and dry the parsley, green onions and dill immediately.
  4. Heat a frying pan over low heat and put half of the butter (7-8 g) in it.
  5. Cut a sheet of pita bread in half. Put one half of the pita bread in the pan so that its edge hangs out.
  6. Break the egg into pita bread and spread the egg white a little, leaving the yolk intact.
  7. Finely chop the parsley and dill with a knife. Sprinkle half of the chopped greens over the egg. Season with salt and pepper.
  8. Chop the green onions with a knife. Sprinkle the eggs with half a green onion.
  9. Wrap the pita bread with the filling with an envelope: first, wrap the short edge of the pita bread over the eggs, then cover with the long one.
  10. Now tuck the second edge of the pita bread, trying to completely cover the yolk.
  11. Grate the cheese on a medium grater. Sprinkle the folded pita bread with half of the cheese.
  12. Cover the cheese with the remaining rim and fold it down. Gently turn the envelope over using a spatula, as in these 2-3 minutes it has already had time to fry on the first side.
  13. Cook the eggs in pita bread over medium heat for about 2 minutes, until golden brown.
  14. Do the same with the remaining products.
  15. Scrambled eggs in pita bread, with herbs and cheese, ready. If you serve it right away, the melted cheese will stretch appetizingly.
