Simple apple pie on a frying pan

Apple pie according to this recipe involves baking without an oven. But, this dough can be baked in the oven, then the cake will be even more lush and tender.

Ingredients

• granulated sugar - 200 g;

Directions

1. Peel the apples, remove the middle and cut them into arbitrary pieces.
2. Take a thick-walled pan and melt butter on it. Add 50 g of sugar, add lemon juice, and stir. When all the sugar has melted, add sliced ​​apples and mix. Fry over medium heat for 3-4 minutes to caramelize the apples. They should not become soft and fall apart. Allow the apples to cool completely.
3. Beat eggs and remaining sugar into a homogeneous foam. Sift flour and mix with baking powder. Put the dry ingredients in the beaten eggs and stir to avoid lumps.
4. Add the caramelized apples to the dough. Stir so that they are evenly distributed throughout the volume.
5. Prepare a frying pan with a thick bottom, preferably 20-22 cm in diameter (on such a frying pan the cake turns out high and lush). Grease it with butter. Pour the workpiece and level. Put on the lowest heat and bake for about 30-35 minutes under the lid. It is advisable not to open the lid for the first 20 minutes so that the apple pie does not settle.
