Grate hard cheese on a fine grater, add butter, raw egg and mix. Pour in sifted wheat flour, knead the dough and refrigerate for half an hour.
Finely chop onions and bell peppers, grate peeled carrots. Fry vegetables and add to boiling water or broth. Peel and dice the potatoes, also add to the broth, salt to taste. Cook the soup for 20 minutes.
Roll balls of chilled dough, put them in soup, add herbs, cook for 10 minutes over medium heat. When serving, sprinkle with chopped dill on the soup with cheese balls.
