Such an appetizer in the form of balls of potatoes, herring, eggs and processed cheese not only tastes great, but also looks original and elegant on the table.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Prepare the required ingredients. Herring can be purchased already in the form of fillets or cut yourself. Put the butter and processed cheese into the refrigerator so that it is convenient to grate them.
  2. Boil the peeled potatoes until tender (about 20 minutes). Hard-boiled eggs (about 10 minutes after boiling water). Remove the finished potatoes from the broth and cool. Cover the eggs with cold water and let them cool down.
  3. On a coarse grater, grate cold butter and melted cheese.
  4. Free the herring fillet from small bones and cut into small cubes.
  5. Peel the eggs and grate them on a coarse grater.
  6. Peel the potatoes, then grate on a coarse grater.
  7. Combine prepared potatoes, eggs, herring, processed cheese and butter in a bowl. Season with a little salt and mix all the ingredients.
  8. Use your hands to form into balls about the size of a walnut.
  9. It will turn out to be 14-15 balls.
  10. Rinse and dry the dill, then remove the large stems. Chop the dill finely and roll each ball in it.
  11. Spread the appetizer on a nice plate and stick in the skewers. Before serving, I recommend chilling the snack balls with herring, potatoes, processed cheese and eggs.
  12. Such an original appetizer will look great on the table.
  13. The appetizer is original in appearance and delicious in taste. The preparation is very simple. I recommend!
