Hot snack cake! An original idea of how to combine your favorite foods on a festive table. Today we are preparing a men's cake, there will be meat, potatoes, fried mushrooms with onions and some cheese!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Prepared in advance only mashed potatoes (regular). For this, 700 g of potatoes were peeled, covered with water and cooked for 25 minutes. The water was drained from the finished potatoes. To the still hot potatoes, 50 g of butter, salt and a little hot milk were added and mashed with a crush.
  2. Rub the peeled onions on a coarse grater and add to the minced meat.
  3. To this we add crackers, seasoning for meat (preferably with coriander to give the meat a barbecue taste) and salt to taste. Stir and let stand for a few minutes.
  4. Then we form small rectangular cutlets, similar to kebabs.
  5. To make it easier to form cutlets, grease your hands with oil (you cannot use water, as oil will splash when frying cutlets).
  6. Fry the cutlets in a small amount of oil over high heat until a delicious crust, not until tender. The main thing is to seal all juices in cutlets.
  7. Cut the peeled onion into quarters. Cut the mushrooms into large slices.
  8. At the same time, in a second frying pan, heat the vegetable oil, put the onion there and bring it until golden. Then add the mushrooms.
  9. Fry mushrooms quickly to evaporate excess moisture. Finally, add salt to taste.
  10. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
  11. On a heat-resistant plate, lay out a detachable form without a bottom (I have a diameter of 18 cm). If there is no plate, then you can put pita bread down.
  12. Put some of the mashed potatoes on a plate in a thin layer. We put cutlets on the sides of the form - it turns out a meat "fence".
  13. Put the remaining mashed potatoes in the center and distribute.
  14. Put the fried mushrooms and onions on top and level. We leave a few plates of mushrooms for decoration.
  15. Preparing the fill. Rub the cheese on a fine grater. Finely chop the dill greens, leaving a couple of twigs to decorate the finished dish.
  16. Beat the eggs lightly with a pinch of salt (focus on the salinity of the cheese). Add cheese, sour cream and herbs. We mix.
  17. Put the cheese filling in a mold on top of the mushrooms and level it. We bake a snack cake from cutlets, mashed potatoes and fried mushrooms in the oven for 30-40 minutes, temperature - 180-200 degrees (it all depends on your oven).
  18. Lightly decorate the finished snack cake on top: a net of mayonnaise, the remaining fried mushrooms, finely chopped dill and quarters of cherry tomatoes. Try to cook this delicious and satisfying man's cake, the recipe is interesting!
