We are preparing a cake "Napoleon", but not ordinary, but a snack, unsweetened. We knead the chopped dough with sour cream, bake the cakes, and then layer them with cheese, canned fish and boiled eggs. Due to the fact that the fillings are pre-mixed with mayonnaise-garlic sauce, crispy cakes become a little softer after soaking.

  1. We prepare the products necessary for the test.
  2. The butter must be well chilled.
  3. Sift the flour (350 g - this is a little more than 2 glasses with a volume of 250 ml) into a bowl and rub the oil on a coarse grater to it.
  4. With your hands, quickly grind the butter with flour until a homogeneous crumb is formed.
  5. Add salt, sugar and baking soda to the flour. We mix.
  6. Mix sour cream with egg.
  7. Add sour cream with egg to flour mixture.
  8. We knead the dough with our hands. If necessary, add more flour.
  9. We roll the dough into a ball, wrap it in cling film and send it to the refrigerator for 30 minutes, but you can also overnight.
  10. After a while, preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
  11. We divide the dough into 5 parts.
  12. Roll out each part of the dough on a sheet of parchment paper into a rectangular layer measuring 20x40 cm.
  13. We shift the layer of dough along with parchment onto a baking sheet. Trim the pastry sheet to the desired size and leave the trimmings side by side. We send the baking sheet to the oven preheated to 180 degrees and bake for 7-8 minutes, until golden brown.
  14. Thus, we bake all the cakes.
  15. Put the finished cakes and trimmings on the board and leave to cool completely.
  16. We prepare the products necessary for the filling.
  17. Canned fish can be used in oil or in its own juice.
  18. Boil the eggs hard boiled (8-10 minutes after boiling).
  19. Mash canned fish with a fork.
  20. We clean the garlic, pass it through a press and mix with mayonnaise.
  21. We rub the cheese on a coarse grater and mix with 1/4 of the garlic-mayonnaise sauce.
  22. Peel the eggs and cut into cubes.
  23. Mix 1/4 of mayonnaise with eggs.
  24. Add another 1/4 of the garlic mayonnaise to the fish. We mix.
  25. One part of the mayonnaise is left to lubricate the top of the cakes.
  26. On the first cake we put the egg filling.
  27. Put the second cake on top and grease with mayonnaise with fish.
  28. Lubricate the next cake with cheese and mayonnaise.
  29. Lubricate the top cake with mayonnaise.
  30. The remaining cake and trimmings are broken and placed in a blender bowl. Grind to medium-sized crumbs for 1-2 seconds.
  31. Sprinkle crumbs on top of the cake and send it to the refrigerator for 3-4 hours.
  32. You can decorate the cake with olives, olives and parsley.
  33. Such a snack cake looks beautiful on the festive table.
