Cheese and jelly desserts are different from most dishes that are prepared for a sweet table. First, they are useful. Sour milk cheese is a source of protein and calcium, which are needed daily by people of all ages. Secondly, they are easy to cook. Third, to make this dessert, you do not need to turn on the oven. Cheese and jelly cakes and cupcakes are especially delicious when chilled. They have much fewer calories than buttery pastries. For summer, such light desserts are perfect.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Before you make sour cream jelly, you need to bake a sponge cake. Beat eggs with sugar and vanilla sugar. Mix the mass with a whisk with sifted cocoa powder and flour. Spread the dough in the form, pre-greased with butter, and sprinkled with flour. Bake until ready at a temperature of 180 degrees.
  2. Make the syrup: Add sugar to water, bring to a boil and simmer for a couple of minutes. Allow the mixture to cool and add the cognac. When the sponge cake cools down, soak it in syrup and transfer it to a detachable form. To make the dessert easier to remove, pre-cover the form with cling film.
  3. Prepare gelatin as written in the instructions on the package; it should be filled with cold milk. Whip the sour cream with regular and vanilla sugar. When the gelatin swells, dissolve it in milk, and heat it in the microwave (do not bring it to a boil). Pour it into the sour cream with a thin stream. Divide the resulting mass into two equal parts.
  4. Mix cocoa powder with melted chocolate and add to one part sour cream mixture. Place the second part on the sponge cake and place it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to harden. Spread the second layer of sour cream on top and leave it in the refrigerator for 4-5 hours.
  5. When the sour cream hardens, remove it from the pan. Decorate the top and sides with icing, the sides can be decorated with cookie crumbs and the top sprinkled with cocoa. If desired, the dessert can be decorated with strawberries or other fresh fruits or berries. Jelly "Sour cream" looks very nice in the cut.
