The cake is prepared with the addition of honey and spices.

  1. Turn on the oven to preheat to 160 degrees. Grease a large cake tin (with a hole in the middle) with a diameter of 25 cm.
  2. In a bowl mix flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat butter, sugar, honey and vanilla extract until creamy. Gradually add eggs, beating well after each.
  4. Continuing to beat the butter mixture at low speed, add dry ingredients, alternating with sour cream. Pour half of the dough into the prepared pan.
  5. Mix sugar, cinnamon and ground ginger. Sprinkle this mixture over the dough in the form, put the remaining dough on top. Place in preheated oven, bake spicy cupcake 70-80 minutes, until clean wooden stick when pierced.
  6. Remove the finished spicy cake from the oven, run a knife between the product and the sides of the mold, let the cake cool completely in the mold, and then remove and transfer to a wire rack. Serve the spicy cake sprinkled with powdered sugar.
