In this recipe, I will demonstrate how to cook fried shrimp. However, this will not be the same recipe known to many for fried shrimp with garlic in soy sauce. I fry the prawns in butter and spices. In this form, they will be an excellent snack for beer! I will also show you how to make a very simple sauce that goes well with shrimp.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. We prepare products. I used tiger prawns, but it doesn't matter. Frozen shrimp thawed on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator.
  2. We clean the shrimp from the chitinous shell. We make a shallow incision in the upper part of the tail along its entire length and remove the esophagus. We wash the shrimp under running water. We put them in a colander and let the excess moisture drain.
  3. Peel the garlic and chop it. You can do this with a garlic press, however I prefer to press down on the cloves with the flat side of a knife and then chop it finely so that it feels in the dish.
  4. Before you start frying the shrimp, I recommend preparing the sauce. Pour unflavored yoghurt or sour cream with a low percentage of fat into a deep bowl. For saltiness, add a little soy sauce and squeeze out the lemon juice for sourness. Stir the contents of the bowl.
  5. We put the pan on medium heat, melt the butter in it, adding a little vegetable.
  6. Add the garlic to the completely melted butter.
  7. After half a minute, put the shrimps in the garlic oil. We turn on the maximum heat and fry them for 1 minute, stirring occasionally.
  8. After a minute, the shrimp will turn pinkish. It's time to add the paprika, hot chili and salt. Stir the contents of the pan, trying to distribute the spices evenly over the shrimp.
  9. After 30 seconds, remove the fried shrimp from the heat. Serve on a plate with prepared sauce and serve.
  10. Bon Appetit!
