We all adore strawberries for their wonderful taste and aroma. But do not forget that this berry is also rich in vitamin C, flavonoids, and useful plant acids. Probably, therefore, it is one of the first to mature to replenish the supply of vitamins and vital substances wasted for the winter and early spring.

Therefore, a light dessert of strawberries (you can use frozen strawberries) - is not only a delicacy for children and adults but also a source of health.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Gelatin is divided into 2 equal parts, decomposed into 2 cups, and filled with boiled water at room temperature. This is done from the beginning so that the gelatin has time to swell.
  2. Then cook 4/5 packets of frozen strawberries in 0.7 liters of water. When the berry almost corresponds to the desired taste, citric acid and sugar are added to it. The syrup remains on the fire until the sugar and acid are completely dissolved. After removing from heat, one of the glasses with gelatin is gradually introduced into the mixture. Stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
  3. The remaining strawberries (whole or cut) are laid out in the prepared form. Then pour the syrup with gelatin and put it in the refrigerator.
  4. At this time, prepare the second layer: sour cream is whipped with sugar, and the second glass of gelatin is heated in a steam bath. Once all the ingredients are ready, the gelatin is slowly added to the whipped cream with constant stirring to avoid lumps. The resulting mixture is added in the form of a second layer to the strawberry syrup in the form.
  5. Strawberry, gelatin, and sour cream dessert are placed in the refrigerator for 40-50 minutes. Once hardened, it can be served. Before serving, the bottom is heated so that the bottom layer lags behind the mold. The dessert should lie on a plate so that the sour cream layer is at the bottom, and the berries frozen in syrup - at the top.
  6. Due to its lightness, strawberry dessert can be eaten at any time of the day. It is quickly and easily digested, even if eaten after dinner.
