Strawberries are used not only for a compote or a variety of pastries but also for home spinning. Strawberry jam is considered one of the sweetest types of homemade jam, which is preferred by most housewives and children. Its taste is simply unsurpassed, and the richness and density deserve special praise. Strawberries in this syrup are considered a special marmalade.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. First, you should thoroughly wash the berries and remove all the green leaves from them.
  2. Use a non-stick pan. Pour a small amount of sugar on the bottom, then all the strawberries, and cover it with sugar.
  3. Cover the dish with a lid and set aside for a few hours (recommended overnight) to allow the berries to release juice.
  4. Stir in the morning. You can add a little water, but we do not add, it because we will cook the jam in its own juice.
  5. Cook it in 3 approaches. At first on medium heat, and after boiling - on low heat for 10 minutes. Allow to cool and repeat the process twice more.
  6. Sterilize jars in a way that is convenient for you. Spread the warm jam in dry sterilized jars, cover with lids, and set aside in a cool dark place.
  7. Taste with bread, pancakes, pancakes, or sweet pastries.
