Baked potatoes with cheese filling prepared according to this recipe are so tasty and original that they can be safely included in the festive menu. Absolutely any main course, be it meat or fish, is suitable for such stuffed potatoes with cheese.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Choose small potato tubers.
  2. Wash the potatoes thoroughly as they will cook and serve with the skins. Transfer the prepared potatoes to a saucepan.
  3. Pour cold water over potatoes and place over high heat. When the water comes to a boil, reduce the heat and let the potatoes simmer until tender (boiling time will depend on the variety and size of potatoes).
  4. Rinse green onions, dry and cut into thin rings.
  5. Peel and chop the garlic with a knife.
  6. In a skillet with preheated sunflower oil, fry the onion and garlic for about a minute, stirring occasionally.
  7. Grate hard cheese on a coarse grater.
  8. When the potatoes are ready, remove the pot from the stove and drain the water. Transfer the potatoes to a plate and cool until warm.
  9. Turn on the oven to heat up to 180 degrees.
  10. Then, with a teaspoon or a spoon-noisette, remove the middle from each tuber to make "cups".
  11. For the filling, we need about half of the extracted potato pulp, without the skin. Mash the pulp with a fork and puree.
  12. Put a little more than half of the cheese and fried onions with garlic from the pan in the mashed potatoes. Add sour cream, salt and black pepper.
  13. Stir in the potato cheese filling.
  14. Stuff the potatoes with the resulting filling.
  15. Place the remaining cheese in mounds on each potato.
  16. Bake the potatoes with cheese filling in the oven at 180 degrees for about 15-20 minutes.
  17. Stuffed potatoes with cheese, baked in the oven, ready. Serve hot potatoes.
  18. Bon Appetit!
