Super Easy Blueberry Muffins

Muffins are prepared with blueberries and decorated with butter glaze.

Ingredients

  1. Turn on the oven to preheat to 170 degrees. Line 12 muffin cups with paper rosettes.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat butter, sugar and vanilla extract until creamy. Gradually add eggs, beating well after each.
  4. Whisking on low speed, gradually add dry ingredients, alternating with milk. Add berries, mix gently with a spoon.
  5. Pour batter into prepared molds, filling them 3/4 full. Place in preheated oven and bake muffins for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Then remove the blueberry muffins from the oven, leave at room temperature until completely cooled.
  6. Meanwhile, prepare the glaze. Whisk butter with lemon zest and vanilla extract. Gradually add powdered sugar. Spread this frosting over cooled muffins and garnish blueberry muffins with whole blueberries (optional).
