The best breakfast for children is porridge. However, not all children agree to eat porridge for breakfast. There is a good alternative to ordinary cereals! These are small cups of dough filled with delicious and sweet rice filling.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Let's make the cup dough. Put the flour and softened butter, cut into pieces, on a work table. Mix with your hands to form a crumbly mass. Add sugar, egg, yolks, vanillin and a pinch of salt.
  2. Knead the dough quickly, form a bun, wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  3. Prepare the filling for the tartlets: pour the raisins into a bowl and fill them with warm water.
  4. Boil 1 liter of lightly salted water, add rice and cook for 6 minutes. We drain the water, rinse the rice under running water and put it back in the pan. Pour in cold milk, bring to a boil and, stirring occasionally, cook for about 12 minutes over medium heat until the milk is absorbed into the rice.
  5. Transfer the rice to another bowl and leave to cool. Add sugar, egg yolks, cream to the cooled rice and mix thoroughly.
  6. Drain the water from the raisins. Lightly dry the raisins and pour them with the candied fruit into the rice mixture. Add vanillin, mashed jam (for adults - cherry liqueur) and mix.
  7. Fill the molds with the rice mixture. We bake the tartlets in an oven preheated to 190-200 C, about 20 minutes.
  8. We take it out of the oven, put it on a dish and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve the tartlets slightly warm.
  9. Bon Appetit!
