  3. Transfer the raisins to a deep bowl and fill with warm water. Leave it on for 5-10 minutes.

  6. Combine soft butter in a bowl with sugar, vanilla sugar and a pinch of salt.
  7. Whisk for a few minutes.
  8. Add cottage cheese and continue beating for another 3-4 minutes.

  10. Add flour, baking powder, soda and dried raisins.

  15. Check the readiness of the cake with a wooden skewer: it should come out dry from the center of the finished cake, without traces of batter.
  16. Turn the cake out onto a wire rack and let it cool completely.
