Tomato soup with rice

You can also use chicken stock. It makes the soup lighter. Herbs: parsley, rosemary, marjoram, basil, thyme, sage.

  1. Prepare meat broth first. It is better to make it salty right away.
  2. Put the rice to cook.
  3. In a separate saucepan, cook tomatoes over medium heat (it is better to take mashed potatoes, not pieces), garlic (you can crush or put whole cloves), onions (whole) and herbs. You can use greens in two types - fresh in a bunch (in this case, tie all the greens in one bunch with a thread) or dried (in this case, about 2 pinches of each type).
  4. After 30 minutes, take out all the whole ingredients, pour the broth into the pan, transfer the rice (without water) and cook for another 10 minutes (or until the rice is cooked).
