A wonderful dish of Jewish cuisine was prepared for gala dinners when a large family gathered at the table.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Cut the chicken into cubes.
  2. Cut thin carrots into circles, larger ones - into halves of circles.
  3. Cut the potatoes into large slices. Rinse the raisins and prunes.
  4. Fry the chopped chicken in oil until golden brown, then transfer to a plate.
  5. Fry the carrots in the remaining oil. Add potatoes. Add enough water to the saucepan so that it almost reaches the top. Simmer until half cooked for 15-20 minutes.
  6. Add washed raisins and prunes.
  7. Add chicken, sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar, salt to taste. Simmer tsimes until tender, covered over low heat (35-40 minutes).
  8. Serve hot tsimes. I'll tell you that it is yes!
  9. Bon Appetit!
