Turkish pizza "Pide

Ingredients

  1. First, knead the dough.
  2. Heat milk, margarine, honey, salt until warm, drive in an egg, stir.
  3. Mix yeast (dry) with flour, pour in the milk mixture, knead the dough. Put in a cup, cover, remove to a warm place.
  4. Cooking the filling.
  5. Finely chop the onion. Cut the pepper into strips or cubes.
  6. Fry the onions, add the bell pepper, sauté a little.
  7. Then add minced meat, fry.
  8. The minced meat must be thoroughly and constantly stirred so that there are no lumps. Cook the minced meat for 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste, add chopped herbs.
  9. Transfer to a dish to cool slightly.
  10. Divide the dough into 4 parts.
  11. Lubricate the work surface with vegetable oil.
  12. To form a pide, the following technique is used: roll out an oval, make cuts on the sides, but not completely.
  13. Then we throw the dough harnesses on different sides. You do not need to use flour, otherwise the sides will not stick to the base and the juice will flow out of the filling.
  14. Put the minced meat in the finished boats, grease the edges of the pide with vegetable oil and bake at 200 C for about 20-25 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese if desired. And so that the filling was not dry, I poured melted butter on top.
  15. The pide dough rises strongly when baking, so make the sides thinner.
