Two-color cake with chocolate cream

The cake is made from two-color dough, and the cream for the cake is made from cream cheese.

Directions

  1. Turn on the oven to preheat to 180 degrees. Grease a square heat-resistant form with a size of 28x18 cm with oil. Cover the form with parchment, also grease it with oil.
  2. In a bowl mix flour, baking powder and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the butter and sugar until creamy, then gradually add the eggs, beating well after each.
  4. While continuing to beat the butter mixture at low speed, gradually add dry ingredients, alternating with milk. Add vanilla extract. Transfer half of the dough to a separate bowl. Add cocoa powder to one half of the dough and food coloring to the other. Spoon red and chocolate batter alternately into the mold. Place in a preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, until the cake is ready.
  5. Then take the finished cake out of the oven, let it cool in the mold for 15 minutes, and then put the cake on a wire rack, remove the parchment, let the cake cool completely.
  6. Prepare cream. Beat cream cheese with powdered sugar with a mixer until smooth. Add cocoa powder and milk, mix well.
  7. Lubricate the cake with chocolate cream and decorate the cake with berries.
