Instead of oranges, you can use tangerine, pomelo, grapefruit, lime, or another citrus. To prevent bitterness in the ice cream - remove only the top colored layer of peel from citrus, without touching the white part of the skin.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Peel an orange. Squeeze the orange juice into the pan. Add zest and powdered sugar.
  2. Boil the syrup for 2 minutes on low heat. Then strain the liquid and cool.
  3. Cut the watermelon pulp into pieces and beat it into a homogeneous mass. Mix with orange syrup.
  4. Pour the workpiece into the ice cream mold. Add a few whole berries to each form (it is better to take small berries - currants, blueberries, raspberries, etc.).
  5. Freeze for 4-5 hours.
