Homemade bread recipes include not only yeast baked goods - often housewives prepare them without using yeast. It is customary to make yeast-free bread on sourdough or baking powder or baking soda (I offer you the option of using a mixture of these ingredients), due to which the baking rises.

Plus, this simple, tasty bread recipe includes whole wheat flour, which adds not only the health benefits but also the flavor to the finished product. In addition, I recommend adding a little dry (maybe fresh) rosemary to the bread dough, but this is not for everybody, so you have the right to decide for yourself whether you need this fragrant herb or not.

  1. The recipe for this delicious bread includes ingredients such as: two types of wheat flour (I have the highest grade and whole grain), kefir, baking soda and baking powder, salt, soy sauce, natural honey, refined vegetable oil and rosemary (optional).
  2. Sift two types of flour into a suitable dish, add salt, baking soda and baking powder for the dough.
  3. Add rosemary (mine was dry, but fresh will be just great) and mix everything well again.
  4. We make a depression in the center and pour in kefir at room temperature (maybe lukewarm).
  5. Knead the dense dough and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  6. Then add soy sauce, natural honey.
  7. Mix the dough again and add vegetable oil.
  8. Knead the dough for 10 minutes. It turns out to be a rather dense bun.
  9. We make a smooth ball and lay it on the parchment (I put the dough in a baking dish). Let the workpiece lie under a towel for 10 minutes, and for now, heat the oven to 230 degrees by placing a bowl of water on the bottom.
  10. Now make deep cuts with a razor blade or sharp knife.
  11. We bake our yeast-free bread for a couple of 15 minutes at 230 degrees, then lower the temperature to 200 degrees and cook for another 30 minutes (also steamed).
  12. Cool the finished bread on a wire rack.
  13. Ruddy, fragrant and delicious homemade bread with rosemary is ready. Bon appetit, dear friends!
  14. The finished loaf is about 515 grams in weight.
