Whole grain pie with gooseberries and currants

Whole wheat flour is a great substitute for regular flour in pies. The dough on it is tender and very tasty. We will use fresh berries as a filler for a wholemeal flour pie in the summer. They also add a pleasant sourness to our pastries.

  1. Let's start beating the eggs. We do it with a whisk without fanaticism.
  2. Slowly add the measured amount of sugar. The result should be a homogeneous mass. This process will take about a minute. Add salt at the same time.
  3. We add flour.
  4. Pour soda into it.
  5. We extinguish soda with lemon juice, mix the dough.
  6. Grate the zest and add it to the dough.
  7. It's time for fat components. Add sour cream, pour in vegetable oil. We mix the dough with the same whisk.
  8. Pour the washed berries into the dough.
  9. We mix well our beautiful homogeneous dough.
  10. We shift the berry dough into a mold. We bake at 180 degrees. It will go to the process of baking a pie with gooseberries and currants for about 50 minutes.
  11. We check the readiness of the cake with a wooden stick. If the stick is dry, then the whole grain gooseberry and blackcurrant pie is ready.
  12. Let the whole wheat cake cool slightly.
  13. Remove the finished pie with gooseberries and currants from the mold.
  14. Pour delicious tea, enjoy delicious pastries!
