The unusual thing about this recipe is that the biscuit is made from whole grain flour. A biscuit cake made from such cakes turns out to be very tasty and healthy. We will prepare a cake with sour cream and cherries.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Combine eggs with sugar. Beat until thick fluffy mass for 5 minutes.
  2. Add flour and mix at low speed or by hand.
  3. Cover the bottom of the form, with a diameter of 20 cm, with parchment or sprinkle with flour. Pour the dough into it and bake a biscuit in an oven preheated to 180 degrees.
  4. After 45-50 minutes, the biscuit cake will be ready. To remove the biscuit, we go through the sides of the mold with a knife.
  5. Turn the cake upside down and let cool for 40 minutes.
  6. Mix sour cream with powdered sugar.
  7. Add vanilla if desired. (If you like thick cream, add starch or sour cream thickener.)
  8. Cut the crust in half. Lubricate the bottom cake with cream.
  9. Defrost the cherries and put them on a sieve to drain excess liquid.
  10. We spread the berries on top of the cream.
  11. Cover with a second cake and brush again with cream. If desired, let the cake soak.
  12. Sponge cake made from whole grain flour, with sour cream and cherries is ready. Enjoy your meal!
