Young potatoes stewed in sour cream

Young potatoes are most often just boiled. And if you cook young potatoes with onions, cheese and sour cream, it will be tastier.

  1. Peel and wash young potatoes.
  2. Peel the onion and cut into medium pieces.
  3. Pour boiling water over potatoes and onions in a saucepan so that it only covers the vegetables. Salt. Cook over medium heat until the potatoes are half cooked, 10 minutes.
  4. Add sour cream. Mix.
  5. Add bay leaves and pepper. Cook potatoes with onions and sour cream over low heat for another 10-15 minutes.
  6. Grate cheese.
  7. Pour grated cheese into a saucepan with potatoes, mix.
  8. Young potatoes with onions, cheese and sour cream are ready.
  9. Serve potatoes, sprinkle with cheese and sour cream sauce and sprinkle with chopped dill.
