brushwood according to this recipe turns out to be crispy, moderately sweet and will give odds to any brushwood from the store. It is not difficult to prepare, so go ahead to the kitchen)

Servings: 6

Time for preparing: 1 hour

INGREDIENTS:

wheat flour 300 g

chicken eggs 2 pcs.

milk 50 ml

vodka 30 ml

sugar 1 tbsp

salt ½ tsp

sunflower oil

powdered sugar

PREPARATION:

All ingredients for cooking should be at room temperature. Break the eggs into a bowl. We add salt, sugar, milk to them. Mix well.

Next, sift some of the flour into a bowl to the egg mixture. You don't need to add all the flour. The flour is different every time, you may need less or a little more.

Then add vodka. You don't need to add vodka, but it is it that makes the dough crispy. After cooking, it is not felt in the brushwood.

When the dough becomes difficult to stir with a spoon, dust the table with flour and knead the dough with your hands there. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes. The dough should be elastic and not sticky to your hands.

Then we put the dough in a bag or cover with cling film or a towel. Leave it to brew at room temperature for 30 minutes for the dough to rest. Then it will be easier to roll it out.

After half an hour, roll out the dough thin enough, to about a thickness of 1-2 mm. For convenience, I grease the table with vegetable oil so that the dough does not stick to the table.

Cut into strips and then divide the strips across into about 4 pieces.

In the middle of each strip we make a cut. We take a strip, push one end into the cut and turn it inside out. We do this with all the strips.

Pour the sunflower oil into a bowl with a thick bottom. We put on fire I make a medium heat, the oil should not overheat, otherwise the brushwood will quickly burn out. I check the readiness of the butter by throwing a piece of dough into it. If the butter starts to bubble and the dough floats to the top, you can cook. Do not throw a lot of brushwood into the oil at once, as it is more convenient to turn it over. In the process of frying, turn over the brushwood several times. The degree of roasting can be selected for yourself. If you like a soft, fairly light golden color, if you like more crunchy - wait until it has a good gold finish.

Put the finished brushwood on a paper towel. Let the excess oil drain and cool the brushwood. Then sprinkle with icing sugar.

Delicious brushwood is ready! Bon Appetit!
