In Japan, the so-called blood group horoscope is widespread.
The history of the horoscope
The discovery of the AB0 blood group system in 1901 laid the foundation for all blood group research. The discoverer was Karl Landsteiner. The Japanese doctor Hara Kimata continued to work with this system. In 1916 he published a text in which he postulated a connection between blood type and character traits.
His theory was well received: At the end of the 1920s, the psychologist Takeji Furukawa took up the doctor’s theses and continued to research them. However, his research fell into oblivion – until the beginning of the 70’s. Journalist Masahiko Nomi came across the research results and published the basis of today’s horoscope with the article “Detecting compatibility by blood group”.

The blood group according to the horoscope should give the following conclusions about the character:
According to the blood group horoscope, with blood group A you are considered to be particularly honest, patient, careful and responsible. Other positive character traits such as consideration, politeness, prudence and diligence are attributed to you. On the other hand, there are also some negative characteristics such as tension, narrow-mindedness and a very conservative attitude to life. Blood group A is very common in Germany.
If you have blood group B, you should be a very active personality. You are seen as a creative doer, very open-minded, passionate and positive. But here too there are negative character traits such as recklessness, egoism, unpredictability and reckless action.
According to the Japanese blood group interpretation, people with blood group 0 should be very goal-oriented, optimistic and solution-oriented. This gives them good leadership qualities, among other things. In Japan, people with blood type A are considered “romantics” and thus “ideal partners”. Negative character traits are said to include jealousy and vanity.
Blood group AB is said to indicate a high level of sensitivity. In addition, these people are also said to have a high level of unconventionality, spirituality and creativity. People with the rare blood group are said to be very strenuous, unpredictable and sometimes narcissistic.
