Pizza with mushrooms is one of the most popular variants of this wonderful dish both in Italy itself and in the rest of the world. Traditionally, captive-grown mushrooms are used for the filling. And this is really a great choice, since they cook very quickly (by the way, they can be eaten raw, by the way!) And go perfectly with both tomato sauce and cheese. You can make the taste of mushrooms more expressive with the help of herbs: oregano or thyme. And our own parsley is also quite suitable! It is better to add spicy herbs to the filling in dried form, but you can decorate the ready-made pizza with mushrooms with fresh leaves.

  1. Make mushroom pizza dough. Pour yeast into a small bowl and pour 3 tbsp. l. warm water. Stir with a spoon and let sit for 15 minutes to activate the yeast.
  2. Sift flour and salt in the form of a slide. Make a "well" on top. Pour the yeast mixture into it, the remaining water and start kneading the dough with a fork or hand.
  3. Stir the pizza dough in a circle, in the same direction all the time, grabbing the flour from the sides of the well. Then add 1 tbsp to the dough. l. olive oil and knead until smooth, 10 minutes.
  4. Form a ball out of the pizza dough. Place it in a bowl and brush with the remaining olive oil. Tighten the top of the bowl with cling film and leave in a warm place for 1 hour to double the dough in volume.
  5. Heat the oven to 220 ° C. Put the dough on a table covered with flour and knead slightly. Roll into a thin flat cake, 25-30 cm in diameter. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  6. Brush the dough with a cooking brush with tomato sauce. Peel the pizza mushrooms and cut into thin slices. Grate the cheese on a medium grater.
  7. Put the mushrooms on a dough cake greased with tomato sauce and sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake the pizza for 10-15 minutes. Drizzle with olive oil and serve.
