1) Onion pack for earache

Onions have an antibiotic effect that usually makes earaches go away quickly. Take a cloth handkerchief or a thin cotton cloth and spread it out on a cutting board. Then carefully cut the onion into small cubes. Now fold the cloth together so that the onion pieces cannot fall out and make sure that there is only one layer of fabric at the point that will later be placed on the ear.
The cloth can also be tied with a piece of string, for example. You can warm up the packet in the microwave, but you can also use it cold. Place the onion wrap on the bone just behind the pinna and secure with a headband, hat, or gauze bandage. The sachet should remain there for 60 minutes, but you can also leave it on overnight.
2) Parsley as an ear wrap
You can chop parsley into small pieces and wrap them in a cloth and then put them on the diseased ear. Leave the parsley on the ear for at least an hour.
3) Mustard flour
Mix fresh mustard flour with lukewarm water. Spread the mustard paste on a cotton cloth and place it behind your ear for about 20 minutes. This mustard poultice should only be used once a day. If your ears are itchy and you are sensitive to the mustard because the mustard burns your skin, remove the mustard wrap immediately.
4) red light

The painful ear can also be irradiated with red light. The distance to the ear should be at least 50 centimeters. The irradiation can take place for 10 minutes. If there is an ear infection or an inflammation of the ear canal, you should avoid this home remedy, as the ear should be cooled if it is inflamed.
