"Pie" from a long loaf with ham, tomatoes and cheese, baked in the oven, is a delicious dish that will be an excellent breakfast or hot appetizer.

  1. Prepare all items on the list. You will also need a baking dish with a diameter of 20 cm.
  2. Cut the loaf into 10 identical slices.
  3. Lubricate each piece of loaf on one side with butter.
  4. Cut the tomato into 10 identical thin circles. The diameter of the tomato slices should be equal to the diameter of the ham slices.
  5. Mix eggs and milk in a bowl.
  6. Add salt and ground black pepper to taste.
  7. Whisk the filling ingredients well with a whisk.
  8. Put slices of bread in a circle in a form, between each slice of bread place a circle of tomato and ham.
  9. Pour everything with the prepared filling.
  10. Sprinkle the top of the "pie" with hard cheese, grated on a medium grater.
  11. Send the form to the oven, heated to 180 degrees, for 15-20 minutes to melt the cheese and brown the bread.
