Cauliflower baked with cheese sauce in the oven is very tender. The sauce of two types of cheese gives it an interesting piquant taste. Such a cauliflower dish can be a separate appetizer or side dish.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Divide the cauliflower into florets. Cut large pieces into pieces so that they cook faster.
  2. Wash the cabbage florets and pat dry with a paper towel.
  3. Sprinkle them with black pepper, cinnamon and coriander, a little salt. Pour the ingredients with olive oil and mix so that all the cabbage is evenly covered with spices and oil.
  4. Line a baking sheet with foil. Lay out the cauliflower in one layer.
  5. We send the baking sheet to the oven, turned on in advance at 180 degrees. We will bake the cabbage until golden brown. During cooking, turn the inflorescences so that they become ruddy on all sides. If your oven has a grill, be sure to use it.
  6. Then transfer the golden inflorescences to a deep baking dish. You can use small portion sizes if you like.
  7. Let's prepare the sauce. Pour some milk into a saucepan or ladle. Add finely chopped melted cheese. We will heat the mixture over low heat so that the cheese melts.
  8. Then add the sifted flour to thicken the mixture. Mix well and add some more milk. While stirring the sauce, we will pour milk into it in parts so that lumps do not form in it.
  9. Boil the sauce for 5 minutes and remove from heat. Add pepper and some salt.
  10. Grate hard cheese on a fine grater and pour into the sauce.
  11. Mix quickly and pour the sauce into the roasted cauliflower dish. Let's put the dish in the oven. We will bake cauliflower with cheese sauce in the oven for 30 minutes at the same temperature.
  12. As a result, the sauce should be baked, and the cauliflower should be browned.
  13. Sprinkle the finished dish with chopped herbs.
  14. Serve hot roasted cauliflower.
  15. Bon appetit!
