Baked tomatoes in cheese-garlic breading

Delicious appetizer - tomatoes breaded with breadcrumbs, cheese, herbs and garlic. Baked, slightly sweet tomatoes go well with a crispy garlic-cream breading.

  1. We prepare the necessary products.
  2. Turn on the oven to heat up to 200 degrees.
  3. Finely chop the parsley (leaves only).
  4. Pour the breadcrumbs and some parsley into the bowl of a blender or chopper. Grind, adding parts of parsley.
  5. We clean the garlic, pass it through a press and add it to the mixture of herbs and crackers.
  6. We mix.
  7. We rub the cheese on a medium grater.
  8. Add the cheese to the resulting mass in the blender bowl and finally mix the breading. Pour the breading into a wide bowl.
  9. We wash the tomatoes, dry them, remove the base of the stalk and cut off the top for stability. Cut the tomatoes in half.
  10. Brush the tomato slices with olive oil, salt and pepper.
  11. Dip the slice of tomato into the breading, turn over and generously spread the breading on the cut.
  12. We cover the baking sheet with baking paper and lay the tomatoes with breading on it. We send the baking sheet to the oven preheated to 200 degrees and bake for 20 minutes, until golden brown.
  13. These are such ruddy tomatoes.
  14. We serve tomatoes baked with cheese, breadcrumbs and garlic as an appetizer, warm or cold.
