Boiled bean and grated cheese croquettes are an excellent appetizer, both on their own and as an addition to vegetable salads or meat dishes. Breaded croquettes are deep-fried, they turn out ruddy and tender inside, with a bright cheese aroma. Try to cook!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. We wash the beans and fill them with water for 4-6 hours.
  2. Then we wash the beans again and fill them with clean water. Boil until tender (about 40-60 minutes). Drain the beans in a colander and let them cool down a bit.
  3. We rub the cheese on a fine grater.
  4. Puree the cooled beans with an immersion blender.
  5. Combine beans and cheese.
  6. Mix well with beans and cheese. It turns out a plastic mass.
  7. We form small balls the size of a walnut from the dough. I got 30 pieces.
  8. Break the egg and shake it with a fork or whisk.
  9. Dip each ball into an egg.
  10. Roll in breadcrumbs.
  11. Heat up vegetable oil in a saucepan. Fry the croquettes in hot oil for 1 minute. It's better to do it in batches.
  12. Place cooked croquettes on paper towels to remove excess oil.
  13. Lettuce leaves can be used to serve bean and cheese croquettes. Arrange the lettuce leaves on a plate and place the croquettes on top.
  14. Bon appetit!
