Beetroot baked with cottage cheese and nuts is an unusual, but very healthy and nutritious dish. The curd filling is supplemented with chopped walnuts and goes well with baked beets.

  1. Wash the beets, put them in a saucepan, fill with water and put on fire. Bring the water to a boil and cook the beets for 30 minutes.
  2. Remove beetroot from water and cool.
  3. Turn on the oven to preheat to 180 degrees.
  4. Mash the cottage cheese with a fork. Finely chop the walnuts and add to the curd.
  5. Add salt and ground black pepper. Pour in vegetable oil.
  6. Thoroughly mix everything together.
  7. Line a baking sheet with foil. Peel the beets, make the largest possible recess inside, trying to keep the beets intact.
  8. Fill the beets with the curd mass and send to the preheated oven. Bake at a temperature of 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes, until the curd mass is browned.
  9. Beets baked with cottage cheese and nuts are ready! The dish can be served immediately after preparation.
