Tartlets made from slices of bread are perfect for a festive table.
Ingredients
Directions
Turn on the oven to preheat to 180 degrees. Cut the crust off the bread slices and use a rolling pin to roll out the bread to a thickness of about 3 mm.
Brush both sides of each rolled bread slice with butter (using half the butter).
Put the bread slices into muffin molds (cupcakes) and press down well with your hands. Put the tarts in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes.
Meanwhile, prepare the filling for the tartlets. In a small saucepan, melt the remaining butter. Add flour, stirring, and pepper.
Gradually add milk and cream, mix until smooth. Bring the sauce to a boil and cook, stirring, for about 2 more minutes. Remove from fire.
Ham cut into small cubes. Add ham, green peas and corn to the prepared sauce. Cook, stirring, about 5 minutes.
Put the resulting mixture into tartlets and sprinkle with paprika. Serve the tarts immediately, hot.
