The peculiarity of these canapes is that sprats, together with boiled eggs, mayonnaise and fresh dill, are crushed into a pate mass. And thanks to the cutting of bread and cheese in the form of hearts, canapes look very festive.

  1. Prepare products.
  2. In addition, you will need skewers to fasten the components of the canape.
  3. Rinse dill, dry and finely chop.
  4. Boil the eggs (10 minutes), pour cold water over and cool.
  5. Put sprats without oil in a bowl.
  6. Peel the eggs, grate on a fine grater and lay them on the sprats.
  7. Blend sprats and eggs with an immersion blender to a pate consistency.
  8. Add mayonnaise (50 g) and half the chopped dill to the resulting mass.
  9. Mix all ingredients well until smooth.
  10. From the slices of bread, cut out hearts using a cutting mold (I have a heart shape measuring 5x6 cm). From 1 piece of bread, 2 hearts are obtained, and in total - 10 pieces.
  11. Using the same shape, cut out hearts from pieces of cheese 3-4 mm thick.
  12. Cut pickled cucumbers into slices no more than 0.5 cm thick.
  13. In a bowl, put the remaining mayonnaise (50 g), the remaining half of the dill and garlic, peeled and passed through a press.
  14. Mix garlic-mayonnaise sauce with greens well.
  15. Put bread hearts on a plate, grease them with garlic sauce, and put cheese hearts on top.
  16. Put the sprat pate on top of the cheese (I used a pastry bag).
  17. Spread pickled cucumber slices on the pate.
  18. Fasten the canapes with skewers.
