Canape sandwiches with prunes baked in bacon will be a spectacular appetizer on the festive table.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Wrap the washed and dried prunes with strips of bacon. (I had long strips, so one strip of bacon was enough for two prunes.)
  2. Put the bacon-wrapped prunes in a pan and bake in the oven at 200-250 degrees until the bacon is browned, about 10 minutes. To keep the bacon from unraveling, you can secure it with wooden toothpicks.
  3. Bacon-wrapped prunes can also be pan-fried on the stovetop.
  4. Bread for canapes cut into small squares, without crusts.
  5. Fry the slices of bread on both sides in the resulting bacon with prunes after baking.
  6. This can be done on the stove or put the form (pan) with bread in a hot oven for about five minutes.
  7. Assemble the canapés in this order: a slice of bread, a prunes wrapped in bacon, then an olive or an olive.
  8. If you are planning a festive serving of canapés with prunes in bacon, then it is better to replace simple wooden toothpicks or sticks with elegant skewers or canapé sticks.
  9. Bon appetit!
