A simple vegetable dish that can serve both as an independent snack and as a light side dish for meat and poultry. The taste of slightly sweet carrot sticks is enriched by garlic and a sweet and sour marinade with honey, vegetable oil, vinegar and herbs. When baked, carrots become fragrant and soft, but still quite dense.

  1. Prepare food items on the list.
  2. Turn on the oven, let it warm up to 180 degrees.
  3. In a container with a lid (I have a jar), send honey, vinegar, vegetable oil, dried herbs, salt and hot pepper.
  4. Close the jar and shake a little so that all the ingredients are combined.
  5. Cut the peeled carrots into long sticks, but not very thin (about 1.5-2 cm thick). Put in a bowl.
  6. Peel the garlic cloves and crush with a knife. Add garlic to carrots.
  7. Pour the fragrant marinade into the carrots and mix everything well.
  8. Transfer carrots with garlic and marinade to a heat-resistant form.
  9. Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 15 minutes. Then take out the form, mix the contents and return it to the oven. Cook for another 15 minutes, the carrots should become soft, but retain their shape (be guided by the characteristics of the oven and the size of the bars).
  10. Carrots baked with spicy honey marinade and garlic, sprinkle with sesame seeds - and you can serve.
  11. Carrots are delicious both hot and cold.
