Cauliflower Snacks with Cheese (Oven)

From cauliflower, you can cook not only the usual first or second courses, but also an original appetizer. Cabbage is boiled, chopped, combined with cheese, egg and other ingredients. The sticks are then shaped and baked in the oven. Not everyone will guess that this is a cauliflower dish!

  1. Wash the cauliflower and divide into florets.
  2. We lower the inflorescences in boiling salted water, bring to a boil and cook for 8 minutes, until soft.
  3. Turn on the oven to heat up to 180 degrees.
  4. We discard the finished cabbage in a colander and let the liquid drain.
  5. Dry the cabbage with paper towels.
  6. Grind the cabbage in a blender bowl until almost smooth.
  7. We rub the cheese on a fine grater.
  8. Peel the onion and cut into small pieces.
  9. In a deep bowl, mix chopped cauliflower, breadcrumbs, egg, cheese and onion.
  10. Salt, pepper and mix thoroughly.
  11. We cover the baking sheet with baking paper and grease it with vegetable oil. Wet hands with water, form sticks and put on a baking sheet. We send the baking sheet to the oven preheated to 180 degrees and bake for 20 minutes.
  12. We take out a baking sheet, turn the sticks over and send them to the oven for another 15 minutes.
  13. Cauliflower snack sticks with cheese are served hot, with tomato or other sauce.
  14. We can serve the sticks cold, it is also very tasty.
