Bryndza or cheese in batter - breakfast for lazy people, a super quick snack for beer, just a yummy for dinner - as you like!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. We are looking for a piece of cheese in the refrigerator. Or cheese, like mine. The piece may not be the freshest. Cheese is the simplest, frills are not necessary at all. If the crusts of the cheese are very dry, then it is better to cut them off. The rest is not scary! We cut the cheese into cubes (parallelepipeds) of any length, but 1.5-2 centimeters thick, otherwise it will melt.
  2. Pour vegetable oil into the pan. Or melt butter. But it’s better to mix it all the same, otherwise the creamy one foams and splashes very much when alone. Roll the pieces of cheese in flour, in a mixed egg, and then in breadcrumbs. As a breading, you can take any ground unsweetened crackers, ground oatmeal, ground unsweetened corn flakes, bran. I have a mixture of wheat crackers with red paprika.
  3. Fry cheese in batter for 1 minute on each of 4 sides. We spread the finished cheese in batter on a napkin so that the excess oil is absorbed. And we eat with sweet tea. Everything, including the search for cheese, took 8 minutes. :-)
  4. Bon appetit!
