Chicken hearts in cheese batter, deep fried

Ordinary chicken hearts make a chic dish. We first boil the hearts, and then deep-fry in an air batter based on cheese. The batter is ideal for hearts, making them tender and very tasty.

  1. Rinse chicken hearts, dry, cut off the fatty part with large vessels.
  2. Boil 1 liter of water in a saucepan.
  3. Transfer the hearts to boiling water, salt and cook over medium heat for 20-35 minutes (depending on the size of the hearts).
  4. After recline the hearts on a sieve. Give time for the glass of water and hearts to cool down a bit.
  5. Cheese grate on a fine grater.
  6. Transfer the cheese to a bowl, add the egg.
  7. Pour 100 ml of water into a bowl, add flour, soda, ground pepper and paprika, dried garlic.
  8. Mix the ingredients well to make a homogeneous thick batter.
  9. Transfer the hearts to the dough, dip on all sides.
  10. Heat vegetable oil in a saucepan or cauldron.
  11. Carefully drop the hearts one by one into the boiling oil. Cook in batches of 4-5 until golden brown, 2-3 minutes. Put the hearts on a napkin to absorb excess fat.
  12. Ready-made appetizing chicken hearts in cheese batter, deep-fried, serve to the table.
  13. You can serve the dish with sauce to taste or with sour cream. It turns out very tasty!
