An appetizing and healthy dish, because both chicken fillet and spinach are the basis for a proper diet. Poultry meat is juicy thanks to spinach, fragrant, with a pleasant creamy taste. Such chicken rolls have a beautiful appearance when cut, they can also be served on the festive table.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Prepare all ingredients. There are very few of them - chicken fillet, cheese, spinach and spices. Spinach can be used fresh or frozen.
  2. Rinse and pat dry fresh spinach. Cut off the thick stems and cut the leaves into random pieces.
  3. Put the spinach in a hot pan, add 1-2 tbsp. tablespoons of water and simmer lightly for 1-2 minutes, until soft.
  4. Grate hard cheese on a fine grater.
  5. Cut the chicken fillet lengthwise into two pieces. I got 4 layers of poultry meat 1-1.5 cm thick.
  6. Lightly beat the fillet pieces with a hammer to a uniform thickness (0.8-0.9 cm) over the entire surface of the piece.
  7. Salt the chicken meat and add black pepper or a mixture of peppers.
  8. Scatter the sautéed soft spinach evenly over the minced chicken.
  9. Spread grated cheese evenly on top.
  10. Roll the chicken fillets into rolls. Secure with wooden toothpicks to keep the rolls from unrolling while frying.
  11. Turn on the oven to heat up to 180 degrees.
  12. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the rolls on all sides for 3-4 minutes, until golden brown.
  13. Remove the wooden toothpicks and place the fried rolls in a baking dish.
  14. Bake chicken rolls with spinach and cheese for 15-20 minutes in a preheated oven at 180 degrees, until tender (light juice should stand out when cut with a knife from chicken meat).
  15. Chicken rolls with spinach and cheese are ready.
  16. Transfer the rolls to a dish lined with lettuce leaves and serve.
  17. When cutting the roll, the layers of spinach and cheese are clearly visible.
  18. Such rolls are not only a tasty and healthy family dish, they can be served on the festive table both as a hot dish and as a cold appetizer.
  19. Bon appetit!
