An original appetizer made from spicy chorizo sausage, which has a special taste thanks to Spanish paprika. An interesting combination in the recipe is the sharpness of chorizo and the sweetness of raisins and dried apricots.

  1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Pour chopped dried apricots and raisins with hot water for 10 minutes. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and fry the finely chopped onion until soft (5 minutes over medium heat). Add the sliced ​​sausage and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add dried apricots and raisins to the pan. Then pour in the wine and add the nuts. Increase heat and cook for 2 minutes, stirring with a wooden spoon. Sprinkle with black pepper and place in a small baking dish. Cover with foil and place in the oven for 15 minutes. Serve with fresh bread (optional).
