  1. At the very beginning of cooking, it is necessary to clean the ears of corn from the leaves. If you purchased already peeled corn, then this step can be skipped.
  2. We clean 50 g of ginger and rub it on a fine grater.
  3. On the same grater, remove the zest from one lime.
  4. In a deep bowl, spread the pureed mixture of ginger and lime. Add 100 g of melted butter in the microwave until soft, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of sugar, juice of half a lime. If necessary, remove the fallen bones, otherwise they will be bitter and spoil the taste of the final dish. Mix the contents of the bowl.
  5. We spread each ear of corn on a separate piece of foil and apply the previously prepared coating on it. It is necessary to evenly distribute it over the entire surface of the cob. After that, each cob must be packed in 2 layers of foil.
  6. Prepare your grill for direct medium heat. Put the corn on the grill. We close the grill with a lid and maintain the temperature in it around 150 degrees.
  7. The total cooking time for corn is 20 minutes. During this time, I recommend that you turn it over several times so that the melted butter is evenly distributed over the cobs.
  8. Grilled corn is ready.
