Fresh figs are baked in the oven with bacon, cheese, nuts and thyme. Served baked figs on toast.

  1. Turn on the oven to preheat to 180 degrees.
  2. In a bowl, mix bacon (ham), cheese, nuts and thyme.
  3. Use your fingers to make a small indentation in the fig halves. Fill these holes with cheese. Place the figs on a baking sheet and place in the preheated oven, cook for about 7 minutes. Then sprinkle the baked figs with liquid honey.
  4. Serve the roasted figs immediately on the toasted baguette slices.
