Fish fillet cutlets with oatmeal

You will get very healthy and tasty fish cakes if you cook them according to this recipe - with herbs and oatmeal.

Ingredients

  1. Cut the fish fillet into pieces. Peel the onion and cut into halves.
  2. In a food processor, smash the fish fillet with onions to the state of minced meat.
  3. (You can pass these products through a meat grinder.)
  4. Transfer the minced fish to a bowl. Add salt, pepper, seasoning for fish.
  5. Now add the minced egg, mayonnaise and finely chopped dill.
  6. Pour in oatmeal. Mix the minced fish well. Let the minced meat stand for a while so that the oatmeal softens and makes the minced meat more dense.
  7. We form meatballs of any shape. Roll each cutlet in breadcrumbs.
  8. Fish cutlets can be partially frozen for future use. Fry the rest of the fish cutlets either in a pan with heated vegetable oil - 3-4 minutes on each side, or in a deep fryer - 5 minutes at 180 degrees.
  9. Ready-made fish cakes with oatmeal are served as a hot appetizer - with sauces, or as a main course - with a side dish of rice or vegetable salad.
