Fried cauliflower in batter with mineral water

An easy and fun way to cook cauliflower. Pre-boiled cabbage inflorescences are quickly fried in batter, which, thanks to mineral water, turns out to be airy and tender. Browned cauliflower is very tasty. Try it!

  1. We wash the cauliflower and disassemble it into medium-sized inflorescences.
  2. In a saucepan, bring about 1 liter of water to a boil, add 1 teaspoon of salt and send the cabbage inflorescences to boiling water. Cook after boiling again for about 5 minutes, almost until cooked.
  3. Drain the cabbage in a colander to drain the water.
  4. Break the eggs into a bowl.
  5. Beat the eggs with a mixer (or whisk) until smooth and lush foam.
  6. We add mineral water.
  7. And gradually add the flour, stirring the mass all the time.
  8. The batter should have a consistency similar to thick sour cream.
  9. Add salt, ground black pepper and Provence herbs.
  10. We mix everything well.
  11. We dip the inflorescences in batter so that the entire surface of the cabbage is thoroughly covered with it.
  12. In a frying pan, heat the vegetable oil and lay out the cabbage inflorescences in batter.
  13. Fry the cabbage for 2-3 minutes on all sides, until a beautiful golden crust forms.
  14. We transfer the finished cauliflower in a batter on mineral water to a plate and serve it to the table.
