Chicken goes great with fruit. Let's use this successful combination and prepare minced chicken balls stuffed with juicy grapes. Grated cheese and sour cream will add additional tenderness and softness to minced meat. For a festive table, you can form medium-sized balls and pierce them with skewers - you get an original snack. And large meatballs can be served with a side dish for dinner or lunch.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Prepare all ingredients.
  2. It is better to use grapes without pits, dark in color - so during the meal you won’t have to be distracted by removing the pits, and in the context of chicken meatballs they will look brighter.
  3. Cook minced meat yourself or buy ready-made in the store from thigh and drumstick meat, chicken balls will turn out more juicy from these parts of the bird.
  4. Grate hard cheese and peeled garlic on a fine grater.
  5. Combine minced chicken, chopped cheese and garlic, breadcrumbs, sour cream, ground pepper mixture and salt in a deep bowl.
  6. Mix well with a spatula. Chicken mince is sticky, so you don't need to mix it for a long time.
  7. Divide the minced meat into 18-20 equal parts, roll them into balls. I got 18 balls weighing 40 g each.
  8. With wet hands, shape the ball into a ball. Place a whole large grape in the center.
  9. Connect the edges of the cake and give the shape of a ball. In the same way, form meatballs from the remaining components.
  10. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and place the meatballs in a single layer. Fry them for 2-3 minutes over high heat.
  11. Then turn the pan so that the balls roll over to the uncooked side and cover the pan with a lid. Fry the meatballs over medium heat, shaking the pan occasionally, for another 6-8 minutes, until tender (cooking time depends on the size of the meatballs).
  12. Transfer the finished balls to a plate and fry the second portion.
  13. Fried chicken balls with cheese and grapes can be served as an independent dish, as well as a buffet appetizer. To do this, cut the bread into squares (with a side sized like meatballs). Put a piece of fresh vegetables (cucumber, sweet pepper) and a parsley leaf on the bread, place a chicken ball with grapes on top. Pierce everything with a skewer or toothpick.
  14. Juicy sweet grapes inside tender and soft chicken meat - a great combination!
  15. I highly recommend it to everyone!
