An easy-to-prepare, but very unusual breakfast - scrambled eggs in pita bread with ham and cheese, which is baked in the oven.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Turn on the oven to heat up to 180 degrees.
  2. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.
  3. Sprinkle the foil with water (required, otherwise the pita bread will stick) and put a round sheet of pita bread with a diameter of 22 cm on it. Put two slices of ham on the pita bread right next to each other.
  4. Sprinkle the ham with grated cheese, leaving the center free.
  5. Carefully break the egg and put the contents of the shell into the resulting recess, being careful not to damage the yolk.
  6. Sprinkle cheese on top.
  7. Gently cover the filling on both sides with pita bread. Then tuck the side edges of the pita bread, forming an envelope.
  8. Tightly wrap the pita bread with the filling in foil, trying to keep the egg yolk intact.
  9. You can do the same with rectangular (30x15) lavash, but I prefer round, since in this case the amount of lavash is minimized.
  10. Send pita bread with ham, eggs and cheese to the oven and bake until the desired degree of readiness of the yolk (10 minutes - so that the yolk remains liquid, 25 minutes - until the yolk is fully cooked).
  11. After a while, release the pita envelopes with the filling from the foil.
  12. Cut each envelope in half.
  13. Serve scrambled eggs in pita bread with ham and cheese to the table with fresh vegetables.
